Delta Steakhouse

"My wife and I had an enjoyable date night. First and foremost, the waitress was kind and on time with everything. My wife ordered the steakhouse burger. She made a comment that the burger was big, juicy, and had a really good mesquite flavor. I had the 10oz filet medium rare. The filet had a delicious flavor and was very tender. I could almost cut it with a fork. I enjoy a side of grilled asparagus. The asparagus had a nice grilled taste, but I recommend cutting the stems down just a tad bit more. Our entree came with a side salad. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and date."

"Wanted to try something in the area and was not pleased. I assumed it would be packed on a Saturday night but was surprised to see that seating was readily available. It was very smoky for some reason in the entire restaurant( possible vent a good issue). We were seated very quickly at a wet table and greeted with a smile by our waitstaff. The menu was easy to read but the prices were not correct or possibly I misread them. We ordered an appetizer and the sausage was cooked on a dirty grill(black grease). We ordered entrees and it came in a reasonable amount of time. The NY strip was very tough cooked medium rare. The others were medium well and had an over seasoned taste. As if they were frozen when cooked vs thawed or fresh. The baked potatoes were good but the asparagus should have been cut at the base of the stalk prior to cooking. I ordered the catfish and it was excellent. We ordered a side of royal reds and they were good but didn't peel easy( again a sign of mis prepared). I will say that the waitress was excellent. The bill reflected a higher end steakhouse price, however it was sub par food and atmosphere. I would write more but will lose the reader. As a critic, I hope to improve any business that requests my services for improvement."

"Food was fantastic! My husband and I drove an hour and a half to try this restaurant and it was well worth it. We will visit again! Pros: Food came out quickly and was delicious. Steaks were cooked perfectly! The restaurant has a welcoming, clean and pleasant atmosphere. Nicely decorated and spacious! Cons: The steak knives! handle was broken on one and the other incredibly dull. Server was slow to refill drinks the one time we needed it and came to ask if we needed refills when we were only half way through eating instead of just bringing the refills (she didn't mention the extra charge for refill) So pay attention to drink prices... We had sweet teas. Overall 4.7 Stars and we definitely recommend checking them out for a great steak dinner "

"Food was delicious! I had the chopped steak with a loaded baked potato, asparagus and a side salad. That asparagus was outstanding, the baked potato sooo flavorful and the chopped steak was unbelievable cooked in my mommas gravy and onions. I topped it off with a very satisfying lemonade to drink. I loved all of it and will be bringing my family back here real soon!"

"This was our first time trying Delta Steakhouse after living in the area for two years. We were seated promptly and our drink orders were taken promptly, but that was about the highlight of our service experience. Our server, while pleasant, seemed somewhat disinterested. It took multiple requests (and eventually asking other servers) to get any drink refills after long stretches of not seeing our server at all. Our group enjoyed the steaks and salmon for the most part but my daughter felt her burger was dry and had possibly been cooked from frozen. She had the chocolate lava cake for dessert and said it was OK. We had to ask twice for a to go box and eventually got the hostess to bring one. Our grade: Food = B, Service = C-"
